The single is part of the singer's solo album, scheduled for release in August
Tarja released the music video for "Tears in Rain," the new single from her upcoming album In The Raw , scheduled for release on August 30th.
The video features the singer as a roller derby player leading her team of strong women. "I didn't want a cliché video," says Tarja, "I didn't want to see myself crying in the rain over a relationship."
“The song is about overcoming various difficulties in life,” she explains, adding that she asked the music video director, Florian Kaltenbach, to avoid the obvious and create a scenario of strength and resilience.
